Family Portraits

Life is too short. If you’re anything like me, the change of the month, season or year ALWAYS, always throws me. To combat these feelings I have always photographed everything and everyone I love. This not so secret quest of mine has taken a bit of work - my photobook albums will need their very own bookshelf soon! But because of my need to preserve those fleeting happy moments means that whenever I need to do some time traveling I can. Memory tricks us into believing we won’t forget - but I promise you, you will. You really will. Photos can help jog those memories - a zoomed-in photo of their tiny hands, chubby legs or gappy smiles will be like a big warm hug during those teenage years. So what, it costs a bit of money now and takes a bit of effort and discomfort. That’s a much better scenario for me as opposed to relying on my memory when the nest is empty. Life is too short, it really truly is.

So how does it work?

I understand that each family is different and has their own story to tell. That's why I take the time to get to know you and your family before the session begins. Everything down to the location, activity and style of photo is personalised to reflect the story that is you. You get a location guide, style guide and photo guru guide. It is in my best interest to create photos you love so you can be assured I'll be finding your good side, luring out your real smile and showing you the story I see.

And lastly- it's only going to cost you $150 for the shoot. Once you see the photos though, then you're in trouble... you'll want them all.  You've been warned.  Once you see the difference to the old iphone, you'll never, ever unsee it.
